For over 12 years now, I have perfected my craft and loved bringing life to and setting moods in creative interior projects of all kinds. What’s real no one can really tell, as they don’t really know
Whatever you perceive as real, is what itself will show.
We live in a world in which what can be seen is automatically interpreted by many societal filters to construct a reality that is perceived as real. But only a small change and our mind quickly goes into a state of cognitive dissonance – what was perceived as real now does not match with the mental image of what the reality should look like.
With my art I want to challenge the immediate creation of reality and show that reality truly is just a question of perspective. It depends in which light one sees reality, and reality may change. What can be seen on the surface is often just a miniscule excerpt of what truly lies beyond the immediately seen.
Creating multi-layered abstract expressionist pieces that, when the light changes, unfurl multiple new layers of reality, are the perfect reflection of this process. It is abstract and thus the interpretations, emotions and associations the spectator feels are purely constructed in their own mind, but suddenly the lights change and create a multidimensional space of interpretation that fascinates the mind and encourages and demands the formation of new associations and emotions. Adding the 3D chromadepth effect with the respective glasses, then adds another dimension. What seemed plain on the surface, now shows its depths, and almost invites to step into the newly discovered hidden worlds.
